Job responsibilities will include, but not limited to thefollowing:? Assist Guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way? Have full knowledge of beverage, wine lists and promotions? Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents andpreparation methods? Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food andbeverage? Demonstrate a complete knowledge and understanding of the sequence ofservice, food and beverage service standards, and all other service standards? To report for duty 5 minutes before time, clean and tidy andwearing the correct uniform as per the standard of performance manual? To strive to anticipate client needs wherever possible and react tothese to enhance client satisfaction? To comply with Municipality regulations regarding Food Hygieneprocedures.? To be flexible in assisting around different areas of the hotel inresponse to business and client needs? To perform all tasks to a consistent standard as detailed with thedepartment standard of performance manual, and to promote within Hotel andBrand key Standards? To attend daily briefing sessions and Hotel/Departmental meetingswhen required? To attend training sessions and meeting when required and tooperate in line with the training or information received? To demonstrate a pride in workplaceand a high level of commitment.To move into this position you should have? Theselected Candidate should be able to join on 15 th September? Tenure in current position minimum one year? Minimum 2 years experience in the relevantarea of a 5* Property? Excellent communication skills and good commandof English language? Good interpersonal skills? Knowledge in computer? Smart in appearance and well groomed? Multiple language ability, an advantage? Previous point of sale system experience isrequired (Micros)? Excellent communication and organizationalskills? Strong interpersonal and problem solvingabilities? Highly responsible & reliable? Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment? Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team?
