Job Description

Barker Langham Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of the Canadian Pavilion for Expo 2020. We are looking for Service / Wait Staff to join the Culinary Program to prepare for events and serve food and beverages at the Pavilion. The service team, under the supervision of the Executive Chef, will provide quality service to all guests of the Canada Pavilion.Role & Responsibilities

  • Working under the direct supervision of the Culinary Program Manager and Executive Chef to serve food and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) at all pavilion events and activities including daily happenings involving the CG, the DCG and their Guests?
  • Setting up rooms and spaces for all types of events including furniture configurations and table settings
  • Providing support in some preparation and plating of food
  • Contributing to post-event clean up and reorganisation of rooms and spaces
  • Adapting to variable work schedules established by the Executive Chef
  • Adhering to all the rules and regulations of sanitary food preparation and workplace safety
  • Completing all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to uphold Canada?s image throughout the entire Expo
