Job Description

Our client, a luxury furniture retail company, is currently looking for aVisual Merchandiser (Furniture).The position is responsible for designing and creating attractivevisualdisplays for all retail outlets through the use of their skills in visualdesign and space utilization to enhance the aesthetic appeal of window displays, walkways, counters, and in-store displays.Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Communicating with Head Office / Supply Chain Operations / Marketing / Sales team regarding windows and their installations, merchandise display as per the guidelines, special events, display standards, new product launches and in-store signage.
  • Strategizing on retail space new product and season launches.
  • Directing the placement of all merchandise categories via Product grouping & Trading plan directives for existing and new stores to maximize sales goals
  • Conducting store visits to train the staff in merchandising standards, merchandising adjacencies & ensuring that the brand standards are being addressed and maintained.
  • Facilitating cross-functional meetings to ensure visual merchandising, marketing, merchandising and stock replenishment departments are working in tandem to targets.
  • Managing the set-up of new, renovated and existing stores as well as re-merchandising projects via planograms, photos and merchandise directives.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
  • A diploma or degree in a related course
  • Should have at least a minimum of 1 year of experience in the same role
  • Should have worked or have a background in-store visual design for furniture items
  • Willing to travel across UAE, when needed
  • Willing to work for long working hours, when needed
