Job Description

ESM is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and highly motivated candidate for the position of Video Editor to join our dynamic and friendly team who is poised for exponential growth. You will be responsible in executing all aspects of the video production from concept development to filming and post production.Term: Full time, 2-year contract, which is renewable.Package: In the region of AED 6,000 including all allowancesKey Objectives:

  • To effectively plan and storyboard all video shoots
  • To execute all filming requirements
  • To manage all postproduction tasks
  • To deliver high quality content within deadline set
Job Responsibilities:
  • Take a brief to grasp production team?s needs and specifications
  • Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes? value and contribution to continuity
  • Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
  • Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
  • Create rough and final cuts
  • Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
  • Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
  • Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry?s best practices to maximize efficiency.
