Job PurposePlan and manage ongoing development of the Engineering Aircraft Maintenance Facilities, Ground Equipment, Tooling and Aircraft Docking Systems in support of Engineering operations in order to achieve and maintain the Engineering standards required by the company and dictated by Civil Aviation Regulatory bodies and similar industrial bodies, including local government requirements.Job Accountabilities- Support Group Facilities in development of anticipated growth plans plan. Working with involved stakeholder to ensure the design of Facilities incorporates optimal layouts while meeting all health, safety and security requirements in line with industry best practices.- Supporting the Engineering premises, including major renovation and facilities development and expansion, by working with Group facilities on advising on design, construction, and maintenance.- Support the planning and development of Engineering facilities and infrastructure expansion in line with operational requirements by partnering with DXB and DWC authorities, while working alongside Group facilities.- Work with Group Facility to lead the strategic planning and implementation of the state of art technology in all projects, focusing on sustainability, energy conservation and efficiencies, adopting intelligent systems to achieve minimum turnaround times while controlling operational costs. Responsible for the disposal of hazardous and controlled wastes in compliance with safety and environmental regulations and guidelines.- Review project proposals and submittals for installations, equipment, systems and infrastructure, ensuring that they are suitable for purpose and meet the required aviation and relevant applicable international standards. Carry out detailed analysis of initial and lifetime costs to justify selections in all cases.- Manage and carry out reviews of project plans, achieving cost reductions through value engineering processes. Bridge Engineering requirement , variations, site and installation inspections, preparing snag and deficiency reports in a timely manner without affecting project timelines.- Responsible of the overall Engineering facilities budget and costs including long range planning and annual operating plan development. Manage and constantly review project budgets.. repetition Monitor project costs monthly in order to compile a cost analysis to assist in optimising operating costs.- Drive a strategy that would fulfil anticipated requirement for Facilities and related innovative equipment that serves the efficiency of the Engineering organization. Also by collaborating with P&L look for opportunities to drive cost saving by leveraging contracts into negotiations.- Oversee the delivery of suitable Facilities and installations to satisfy aircraft repair, maintenance and modification requirements within planned schedules whilst meeting commercial and financial constraints.- Lead the team and ensure they are developed and have the appropriate skill set and knowledge base. Provide an infrastructure of support and communication to main high morale, wellbeing and optimal levels of productivity.Qualifications & Experience- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) preferably in EngineeringExperience- Engineering 12+ yearsKnowledge/Skills- Must have a wide knowledge of facility maintenance, its operations and usage.- Must have detailed knowledge of fire detection & suppression systems, air conditioning supply, LV & HV electrical supplies, hydraulic and 400Hz electrical supplies to aircraft.- Must be computer literate with some knowledge of auto cad.Salary & BenefitsJoin us in a management role and enjoy an attractive tax-free salary.
