Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Intern to join our startup-like team and contribute to our vision of becoming a hub for innovative and impactful logistics solutions.Role and Responsibilities:Under the leadership of theÿChief of the Global Operational Support Centre,ÿand with direct supervision of theÿVendor Management Focal Pointÿthe intern will benefit from close mentoring, guidance, and technical supervision. Performance planning and reviews as well as learning and development discussions will be an elemental part of the internship experience. With the support of a comprehensive induction package and some exciting soft-skills trainings, the intern will rapidly become a productive member of the team.

  • Market Research: Conduct research to identify potential vendors/suppliers and compile a list of their contact information and basic details.
  • Supplier Communication: Communicate with suppliers to request information and provide clarification on the vendor registration process.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Manage and organize supplier documentation. Follow up with new suppliers on document collection and address any issues that may arise.
  • Report Generation: Generate reports on supplier performance on tenders and deliveries.
  • Prepare a concept note for one or two innovative Vendor Management Projects that would leverage the UAE know-how in terms of technology, AI, digitization and meet the humanitarian needs
