Job Description

We are looking for a UAE National with expertise in automotive industry/spare parts/technician work. The role will be based in Dubai however it requires someone who is flexible to travel across UAE and also accompany officials on raids to identify counterfeit automotive spare parts.??Job Context & PurposePlaying a central role between Legal partners, business & government authorities. Meeting all legal partners on regular updates on anti-counterfeit activities in UAE. Conducting trainings for government officials on how to identify non-genuine Toyota parts. Participating raid actions taken up by legal partners along with government officials (CID, Inspectors EDD, Inspectors Municipalities). Arranging consumer rights and brand protections exhibitions with authorities and legal partners for public awareness. Preparing raid reports.?

  • Conduct market visits to national and international exhibitions to monitor brand protection guidelines.
  • Obtain leads about counterfeit goods to investigate and attend raid actions through our service providers.
  • Conduct training workshops to educate regional government officials on potential infringements.
  • Liaising with legal partners related to the raid actions
  • Attending destruction of goods if court order to destroy the seized goods with legal partners and public prosecutor
  • Being available as and when on calls from officials/legal partner for any raids actions if taken up anywhere in UAE.
?Key Responsibilities:
  • Internal Training - Conducting a training for front lines associates (Parts & Aftersales) across Al Futtaim Automotive. To acquire enough knowledge about Genuine Vs Counterfeit through which they can build quality and trust to bond customer with Al Futtaim Automotive brands
  • External Training?-?Conducting training for Al Futtaim Automotive Customers* and Government officials** (EDD & Customs). To understand the problem of counterfeits parts and to safeguard the economy of the UAE. *Automotive Customers = Fleet, Supporting Parts
  • Liaising with brand partners to check market conditions and to work together with all Al Futtaim Automotive departments along with brand entities for raid actions. Contribute to 100% of any planned raid with Legal Partner.
  • Collaborate with government agency to build up anti commercial awareness thru events and exhibitions of the brands for consumer rights. Liaise with other emirates economic department for collaboration with Al Futtaim Automotive.
  • To keep constant communication with all Al Futtaim automotive brands with anti-counterfeit activities in UAE.
