Job Description

Job PurposeJob Purpose Support Treasury operations to ensure all support functions under Financing, Risk management and Trade finance are accomplished in a timely and accurate manner in compliance with internal controls, policies and external regulations while safeguarding the financial resources of the Emirates Group. . Effective and timely processing of financing debt obligations under aircraft financing. . Effective and timely processing of treasury hedge payments under Forex and derivatives and Commodities. . Assist in supporting the issuance and amendment/renewals under SBLC/Bank Guarantees. . Initiate accounting and accruals of treasury, trade finance and financing transactionsJob Accountabilities. Service the debt obligations under various financing facilities and ensure that debt settlements are processed on time. . Carry out rate sets on benchmark rates for floating rate transactions and process settlements at end of each payment period. . Prepare performance reports, statistics reports and other MIS reports relating to Treasury operations on a periodic basis. . Ensure on-going post deal maintenance in respect of the forex and derivative transactions executed by the front office. Also ensure efficient deal administration during the lifecycle of transactions and processing of settlement payments followed by recordkeeping. . Carry out qualitative checks on all Treasury transactions executed by Front office, which includes rate sets for hedging instruments, monitoring market prices for Exotic option derivatives and settlement of cash flows on value dates. . Process Commodity / Fuel transactions and settlements under Swaps and Options based on various settlement methods and computation of relative settlement amounts based on market rates. . Prepare the Mark to Market position for Derivatives, Commodities and Hedge positions based on daily rates and periodic reports from Banks. . Prepare financial accounting and accrual entries for derivative transactions where applicable, hedging transactions reports & MTM disclosure reports for periodic reporting (quarterly, year-end / annual report) within the set deadlines. . Support in the issuance/amendment/renewal of Bank guarantees & letter of credits for the Group and manage the lifecycle of Bank guarantees including recon of Bank charges and portfolio balancing. . Manage an effective framework for maintaining a high standard of Quality and accuracy as per policy guidelines within CT, Ensuring compliance of all Treasury transactions and debt servicing obligations to ensure Sections KPI and other performance and risk measures are achieved and maintained. . Develop and maintain effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders. Internal stakeholders are GL, Outstations Finance and Risk Management, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Cashiering and FAMs. External stakeholders are various relationship banks, Lessors, Lawyers, Internal Auditors and Government Auditors.Qualifications & ExperienceQualifications Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) University degree with a major in FinanceExperience Finance &.Treasury: 7+ years Experience of professional experience in Finance within a large corporation or financial institution, preferably within a Treasury departmentKnowledge/skills- Knowledge of financial markets and understanding of commodity derivatives- Strong analytical background- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Expert knowledge of Excel and other office automation software- Knowledge of Aviation finance structures & Trade finance.Salary & BenefitsJoin us in Dubai and enjoy an attractive tax-free salary and travel benefits that are exclusive to our industry, including discounts on flights and hotels stays around the world.
