Treasury BI Functional Consultant

The detailed responsibilities of the role include the following: ? Drive detailed business requirements and specifications jointly with Finance Treasury Business Team? Analyze the Treasury BI and Dashboard reporting requirements and identify any BI rationalization & standardization opportunities; Propose and agree on the same with Finance Treasury Business team and prepare revised reporting templates as needed? Document key business requirements such as drill down / drill thru needs and drill down hierarchies, dimensional analysis requirements, user interactability for dashboards, GL Reconciliation Framework, Approach to define & pass adjustment entries for specific scenarios, Self-Service needs & requirements, Report & Dashboard delivery by specific timelines daily and design alignment to meet the same etc.? Prepare detailed Business & Functional Specifications Document covering all key requirements & Plan for walk through of detailed business & functional specifications document with Finance Treasury and seek necessary sign off????????????????????Analyze BI & Dashboard Reporting requirements and document detailed: o Business Logics for all distinct Reporting Dimensions and define Dimension Hierarchies????????????????????o Business Logics for all distinct Reporting Line Items and define necessary hierarchies as needed????????????????????o Business Logics for all distinct Metrics reported across various Reports????????????????????o Document Report & Dashboard wise Business logic definitions????????????????????Conduct walk-through of requirements with BI and data modeling teams to ensure alignment of requirements understanding????????????????????Participate in functional solution design discussions jointly with BI & modeling teams and agree on best fit solution approach to meet business requirements????????????????????Demonstrate appreciation of Treasury Domain from a data perspective and participate as a functional lead in modeling decisions jointly with the data modeling team????????????????????Define detailed test strategy & test approach for business validations; Participate in performing UAT of key cases, prepare UAT test summaries, raise defects with relevant implementation teams and participate in necessary discussions for closure of the issues. Present UAT findings with Treasury Finance team and work closely with Finance Treasury business users for UAT concurrence & sign off????????????????????Ensure business user requirements and project deliverables are covered optimally and work closely with PMO team for overall project planning????????????????????Proactively identify any data issues and / or surround system enhancements required and work closely with Data Governance Team / Other Teams to have these issues addressed as per the project timelines; Analyze the data / system gaps and adopt a consultative approach to propose possible solution options and drive decision making with relevant stakeholders????????????????????Work with various teams to put forth any new processes and plan for a smooth knowledge transition to teams as part of system Go-Live planning????????????????????Extend Support for Post Go-Live Stabilization Runs; BAU Run Process / SOP Definition o Definition of detailed Run Activity List along with roles and responsibilities across relevant Finance teams????????????????????Approach to pass adjustment entries????????????????????Approach to update the business mappers defined from front end and reflection of the same on impacted reports / dashboardsAdditional Job Responsibility to Lead Automation of Key Activities in Treasury Mid-Office In addition to above, the role is also expected to entail:? Discussion with Treasury Finance Mid Office team on specific use cases and scenarios for potential automation? Define detailed requirements & specifications document and approach note on the same? Implement the automation opportunities via R-programming or Python. Hands-on experience on R-programming or Python Programming will be an added advantage
