The purpose of the Training System Manager role is to support the Senior Manager Training Operations with managing the Workforce Management System (WMS) for all Expo 2020 Event Time Training. Working closely with the wider Learning and Development team, they will be responsible for scheduling day-to-day training at the Expo 2020 Event Time training center(s). This role plays a pivotal part in each step of the Volunteer journey and using the WMS for scheduling and rostering of the Event Workforce.Main responsibilities for this role include:- Schedule training of Expo 2020 Event Time programmes, including Orientation, Role Specific Training, Event Leadership, Operational Specific Training and Just in Time Training;- Manage the daily smooth delivery of all Event Time Training;- Provide tools, templates, training, support and advice to Functional Areas to assist scheduling & rostering of training for Volunteers and Paid Staff at Event Time;- Leverage strong relationships with Functional Areas to ensure scheduling & rostering meets all milestones;- Contribute to the testing and maintenance of information in the scheduling system, supervising and completing data entry;- Publish rosters to Event Workforce, sending out notifications;- Management of high volumes of data;- Work closely with the Workforce Management System to scope, test and implement all phases in the Workforce journey;- Support the development of all the training processes for all Event Time Training operations.
