Job Description

Job Summary:As a Telephone Operator, you will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing calls in a professional and efficient manner. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer service, directing calls to the appropriate personnel, and maintaining phone system operations.Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and courteously.
  • Provide information, take messages, or transfer calls to the appropriate individuals.
  • Operate the telephone switchboard system and ensure all calls are managed effectively.
  • Assist callers with inquiries, requests, or issues in a helpful and proactive manner.
  • Maintain a log of incoming and outgoing calls for record-keeping purposes.
  • Monitor voicemail and email messages, responding or forwarding them as needed.
  • Follow communication scripts and protocols to ensure consistency and professionalism.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks as required.
