Telecom TechnicianJob Location : UAEKey Responsibilities :•Install, configure, and maintain various telecommunications equipment including routers, switches, and fiber optic systems•Perform routine maintenance checks and preventive maintenance on telecommunications systems•Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in voice, data, and wireless networks•Conduct site surveys and assist in the implementation of new telecommunications installations•TesTelecom Techniciant and evaluate network systems to ensure optimal performance•Respond to customer service calls and provide technical support•Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, installations, and repairs•Follow safety procedures and comply with telecommunications regulations•Collaborate with the engineering team to implement network upgrades and improvements•Stay updated on the latest telecommunications technologies and industry best practicesQualifications :•Associates degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field; Bachelors degree is a plus•Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Telecom Technician, preferably in the UAE or Middle East region•Strong knowledge of telecommunications systems, including fiber optics, copper networks, and wireless technologies•Familiarity with network protocols and standards (e.g., TCP/IP, VoIP, MPLS)•Proficiency in using network testing equipment and diagnostic tools•Valid UAE driving license•Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills•Strong communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are highly desirable•Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when required•Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus
