Job Description

Our client is a well-technology solutions provider working with government, retail, leisure and entertainment clients.We are recruiting a UAE experienced field technology support engineer specializing in cloud and server applications. Role Summary

  • Respond to service requests and assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Attend in-person meetings with clients to analyze and diagnose technical problems.
  • Installation and configuration of devices and sensors based on project scope.
  • Installation and maintenance of application servers, database servers & cloud servers (Linux / Windows).
  • Manage SQL Server databases across all environments.
  • Configure and maintain database servers and processes.
  • Monitor the systems health and performance and carry out troubleshooting and resolution to ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security.
  • Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement.
  • Provide customer training on products installed.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
  • 3 years? experience as an IT support engineer with minimum 1 year?s experience in database management and Linux.
  • UAE driving license is a strong advantage.
Education
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
Candidate Profile
  • Currently living in the United Arab Emirates - must be able to live and work in Dubai.
  • Good command of English.
  • Professional appearance, grooming, communication and presentation skills.
  • Outgoing personality with the ability to build long term relationships.
