1. Prepare and recommend the department budget by preparing analysis and data related to specific elements as directed 2. Monitor the financial performance of the department against budgets so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalised upon. 3. Leads and guides teams in the planning, organizing, management and control of various projects in order to ensure that the project cycle is completed meeting agreed project parameters (cost budget, timelines, scope and quality), standards and objectives 4. Maintain the project schedule and quality standards to meet the customer requirements. 5. Review the scope of works and establish production objectives, standards and production schedules to ensure the timely delivery. 6. Assignment of space and time slot for future work to be carried out in the shipyard. 7. Planning of docking and ship manoeuvres before their arrival at the Yard facilities. 8. Maintenance of relationships with the marina and other professionals operating in DMC & Port Rashid. Port Authority and Maritime Captaincy 9. To understand daily construction, refit repairs, works on-board the yachts to prevent cross contamination or clashes with work flow. 10. Maintenance of relationships with Captains, Owner representatives, as well as clients, contractors/providers, both national and international. 11. Planning of maintenance of and investment into onsite equipment. 12. Ensure optimum use of resources, equipment and manpower. 13. Establishment of procedures related to the production process. 14. Project planning and execution control. 15. Direction and coordination of the Project management / Production teams. 16. Coordination to the commercial department in identifying client needs/obtain additional approvals during projects 17. Supervision of transport and customs management. 18. Supervision of warehouse tasks. 19. Waste Management and Shipyard Cleaning 20. Management of Shipyard Security 21. Monitoring of environmental management of subcontracted companies 22. Delivering Projects on time/on budget 23. Manage employees and yard team. Supervise the activities and work of subordinates by providing formal and informal feedback to ensure that all work within a specific area is carried out in an efficient manner and in accordance with set individual targets. 24. Supervise the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards.
