Keep informed regarding pending laws, industry changes, trends and best practices, assessing the potential impact of these changes on tax policies.
Provide advice on investigation efforts to the Tax Compliance and Enforcement Director, in order to optimise revenue collection.
Advise on overall enforcement efforts.
Help in monitoring tax compliance systems to assess their effectiveness.
Liaise with IT Business Alignment team to assess?IT systems? ability to address technical needs and compliance with policies.
Ensure that information published on website is in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Advise on suitability of material to be published on website in coordination with the Government Communication team
Advise internal management or business partners on the implementation and operation of tax compliance and enforcement programmes.
Consult with Tax Registration and Returns, Tax Compliance and Enforcement and Legal, as necessary, to address difficult tax compliance and enforcement issues.
Contribute to employee training on tax policy, enforcement and compliance-related topics or procedures.
