Job Description

Systems Specialist - Onshore OperationJob Requirements:

  • Qualifications
  • Educated to diploma/degree or equivalent standard in engineering-based discipline..
Experience
  • 10+ years? minimum oil and gas experience, with hands on control systems maintenance experience.
  • Relevant offshore/onshore experience of hydrocarbon processing, utilities plant
  • Other Competencies / Skills / Others
  • Oral and written English communication skills.
  • Experience in the area of Control Systems with control logic design skills.
  • Practical Knowledge of Honeywell DCS / Fail Safe Controller (FSC) / Safety Manager (SM), Remote Terminal Unit (RTU), and Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) Systems.
  • Practical knowledge of Allen Bradley / Rockwell ControlLogix, Triconex, Device Net, ControlNet, PLC programming, Honeywell/Emerson RTUs and HMI configuration of Rockwell Software (RS-View) in process control applications.
  • Practical experience working with gas turbine and compressor controls and Bentley Nevada vibration monitoring equipment / Svenska Kullagerfabriken (SKF) magnetic bearing control systems.
  • Basic knowledge of troubleshooting windows Operating System (OS) computers.
  • Driving skill is preferred to facilitate movement between sites.
