Job Description

Role PurposeAs a Sustainability Lead at JLL, you will be directly responsible for leading the delivery of challenging sustainability projects related to design, construction and operational sustainable design and certifications (including LEED, WELL, Fitwel), strategic portfolio advisory. Your continuous development of skills and adoption of new technologies is key to the impact you will have in this role. You will interact with clients and vendors to develop collaborative solutions, support project related documentation, perform research, support weekly meetings and develop reports and memos communicating technical details, processes and action items. Your knowledge of commercial real estate operations, sustainability and energy management, construction and/or architectural industry will speak to your ability to collaborate with your team in delivering innovative and industry changing projects.What the job involves* Report and support the Director of Sustainability* Work closely with clients to manage and deliver their sustainability ambitious projects* Lead the delivery of projects across the GCC on behalf of the JLL Sustainability team* Present and support advocacy of advancing Net Zero in the region* Support with the business development through networking, bid development and marketing* Mentor junior staff * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team* Ability to juggle multiple projects/activities and maintain tight deadlines, organisational skills and excellent attention to detail* Relationship-building & interpersonal skills* Strong technical knowledge and experience in:+ Sustainable design principles (Architectural, Engineering and other discipline related environmental sustainable designs)+ Sustainability certification tools (LEED, Estidama, WELL, etc.)+ Modelling/simulation tool interrogation and working knowledge (preference to IES knowledge and experience)+ Whole-life carbon assessment (preference of knowledge of One Click LCA)+ GCC regional specific knowledge and experience* Strong communication skills both verbal and written, including presentational skills* Facilitating discussion of diverse viewpoints and brokering agreement* Analytical skills* Ability to translate often complex sustainability information* Confident and self-motivated, with good use of initiative* High level of competence in using standard software packages (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel)What you can expect from usWe succeed together and believe the best inspire the best, so we invest in supporting each other, learning together and celebrating our success.
