Job Description

Job overviewA Sustainability Analyst who specializes in carbon markets and nature-based solutions is responsible for conducting analytical and operational work related to these areas. Position involves support in maintaining the operational processes in company, researching and analyzing the data, creating and delivering analytical reports and presentations as well as liaising with various stakeholders, including government officials to develop sustainable solutions.˙˙Responsibilities:˙

  1. Operational management support: The Sustainability Analyst must assist Sustainability Manager in overseeing and maintaining the operational processes in company, including planning, organizing, coordinating, controlling and monitoring the procedures and activities to achieve the company goals in the field of nature-based solutions and sustainability.
  2. Collecting and analyzing data: The analyst must collect, analyze and benchmark data related to carbon market and nature-based solution trends, including market trends, policy and regulation changes, institutional changes, etc. The analyst should undertake comprehensive review and assessment of both voluntary and compliance carbon markets as well as institutional framework to guide requirements and processes necessary the operation of Article 6 of the Paris Agreement.
  3. Writing analytical reports and preparing presentations: The Sustainability Analyst must create and deliver analytical reports and presentations that communicate the findings and recommendations resulting from their research and analysis.
  4. Conducting stakeholder analysis: The analyst must identify and understand the key stakeholders involved in carbon markets and nature-based solutions, which includes the analysis of their interests, needs, and concerns to develop solutions and potential ways of collaboration. The analyst must conduct benchmarking analysis and work with stakeholders to develop sustainability strategies that facilitate achieving company business goals.
  5. Liaising with governmental officials: The analyst must establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, to promote the adoption of sustainable solutions. This involves working collaboratively with these stakeholders to develop policies and regulations that support sustainability.
