Job Description

Job PurposeThe role of Support Services Manager is a senior position, overseeing all the Service departments toimprove organisational processes and enhance quality, productivity and efficiency, whilst liaisingwith board members, club members, membership applicants and department managers.Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the various functions of the operations of the club, including the
  • Reception/Administration, Membership, HR, IT, Communications/Marketing and Regulatory
  • Compliance
  • Communicate with Club members on enquiries
  • Assist in developing initiatives to increase participation in sailing activities and membership
  • engagement on F&B events
  • Organise interactive open days for non-members and actively engage
  • Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures
  • Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations
  • Communicate effectively with team members at all levels to provide support, improve staff morale and performance
  • Support the administrative needs of the board of directors
  • Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
  • Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
  • Ensure quality customer service
  • Manage budgets and forecasts
  • Oversee and Implement marketing strategies
  • Perform appraisals and monitor KPIs
  • Act as a rotational duty manager where required
