˙Follow up with shipping companies and finance for containers delivery and clearance˙ ˙
Maintain record for all containers and follow up offloading & internal distribution
Planning, organizing and supervising the offloading operations of the imported containers (METS & UNITRA) in a smooth, efficient and time bound manner and avoid demurrages
Coordinate product sourcing with all warehouses to ensure product availability in all locations
Follow the new internal distribution schedule and optimize logistics operations to assure lowest cost possible with highest efficiency and internal and external customer service
Cross-check goods received with suppliers packing list and with the purchase order and bind documents for each shipment, any damages and discrepancies in the goods received such extra/short delivery and short expiry should be reported immediately
Communicate promotion requirements/mechanisms with warehouse supervisors and suppliers and ensure all promotions are available for loading as per sales plan and requirement
Monitor the minimum stock levels at all warehouses on daily basis and ensure fair distribution of available volume to all areas based on daily stock requirements set by warehouses and avoid out of stock situation at all locations
Generate a weekly report to update orders, arrivals, balance and differences
Based on stock availability, buffer stock requirements and sales forecast calculate orders and arrange for the LPO?s
