Roles & ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities ? Warehouse OperationsWarehouse Operations Management: Execute daily warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, processing, picking, put-away, and decanting, ensuring planned dispatch volumes are achieved while meeting daily SLAs and throughput targets.Manpower Planning and Productivity: Ensure manpower is deployed according to budget, utilized effectively, and aligned with productivity targets for each activity.Warehouse Automation Systems: Develop an understanding of the Dematic Warehouse Management System (WMS), process flows, and material flows, and identify opportunities for operational optimization.Consumables Management: Ensure sufficient consumables are available to cover 7?14 days of operations. Identify shortages, estimate requirements, and coordinate with Concepts and Line Managers to arrange purchases or replenishment in advance.Consumables Quality and Inventory Management: Verify the quality of consumables, including hangers and LVIS profiles, and ensure proper inventory management.Peak Readiness and Multiskilling: Ensure skilled manpower is available for all key departmental activities during peak periods, including Ramadan and Back to School (BTS), through multiskilling and cross-departmental training in activities such as flat-to-hang, put-away, picking, and decanting.Inventory Accuracy: Improve inventory accuracy through random audits, user accuracy checks, and appropriate corrective and preventive actions.Systems Availability: Coordinate with IT and Maintenance teams to ensure the availability and smooth functioning of operational systems, including IT systems, Dematic sorters, conveyors, and highways.Team Leadership: Lead a team of 50?80 employees, including Team Leaders and floor staff, ensuring effective inventory management, product organization, and order fulfilment while meeting SLAs, achieving daily productivity targets, and complying with safety regulations and company policies.Continuous Process Improvement: Analyse existing processes and operational data to improve productivity, throughput, fill rate, and reduce overall cost per piece.Performance Management: Regularly monitor employee productivity and performance and implement continuous improvement measures to enhance individual and team performance.Employee Engagement and Communication: Ensure team members feel heard, valued, recognized, and appreciated. Provide regular updates on business developments and key management announcements.Team Development and Collaboration: Foster a supportive work environment by encouraging collaboration, teamwork, and team-building activities.Positive Workplace Culture: Take initiative to promote positive cultural changes that contribute to organizational effectiveness and business value.Desired Candidate ProfileBasic Qualification / Education / Vocational TrainingEngineering graduate.Preferred age: below 35 years.Advanced Qualification / Certification / Specialist TrainingGood working knowledge of MS Office.Advanced MS Excel skills.Power BI proficiency.Experience handling ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).SQL experience preferred.ExperienceMinimum Experience3?5 years of experience in ERP systems, warehouse operations, data analytics, or related areas.Specific / Relevant ExperienceERP and warehousing systems.Data analytics and Management Information Systems (MIS).Warehouse operations.Functional Skills and CapabilitiesKnowledge of logistics and warehouse processes.Data analytics, including Advanced MS Excel and Power BI.Data interpretation and critical reasoning.Results orientation.Teamwork and collaboration.Communication and articulation skills.Planning and organizational skills.Commitment to excellence.Problem-solving abilities.
