We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer with a strong background in bridge construction or maintenance and extensive hands-on experience working on RTA (Roads & Transport Authority) projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for structural assessments, inspections, design reviews, maintenance supervision, and ensuring compliance with RTA standards and project specifications.Key Responsibilities:•Conduct structural inspections, assessments, and condition surveys for bridges and related civil structures.•Review and interpret engineering designs, construction drawings, and technical specifications related to bridge works.•Supervise bridge construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance activities ensuring compliance with RTA guidelines and project requirements.•Identify structural issues, propose engineering solutions, and prepare technical reports, method statements, and inspection records.•Coordinate with internal project teams, contractors, consultants, and RTA representatives for approvals and project execution.•Monitor project progress, ensure quality control, and verify that all activities meet safety and regulatory standards.•Assist in preparing shop drawings, as-built drawings, and other required documentation.•Conduct structural calculations, load assessments, and performance evaluations as needed.•Support the development of maintenance strategies and preventive maintenance plans for bridge assets.Qualification:•Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.•8–10 years of proven experience in bridge construction, maintenance, or structural engineering.•Demonstrated experience working on RTA bridge projects in Dubai (mandatory).•Solid knowledge of RTA standards, local authority regulations, and relevant engineering codes.•Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD, SAP2000, MIDAS) is an advantage.•Strong technical report writing, communication, and coordination skills.•Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight schedules.•Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
