Storekeeper - Fresh Fruits & VegetablesJob Location : UAE:?Ensure that all goods received are stocked in the warehouse/storerooms; ensure the goods are received with the required supporting documentation (delivery notes, receiving reports & purchasing orders).?Responsible for storage of fresh food and vegetables and operational stock.?Issuance of stock and inventory control; good housekeeping practices.?Inspect materials before receiving and reporting it; take proper action to store the materials.?Gather information about vendors and verify receipts and issuance of materials.?Conduct checks between documented records and actual stock; investigate discrepancies where necessary and report to the concerned person.?To be prepared at any time for a management stock reviews.?Responsible for day to day check on the storage facilities for upkeep and hygiene.?Should be able to follow standards for issuing and receiving stock within the stores.?Should have understanding of standards of HACCP in storage practices.?Proper records of all stock movements.?Stocks to be supplied in a timely manner to the retail locations.?Ensures adequate health and safety and food storage principle are followed in line with QA program.?Familiar with all companys policies and procedures.Qualifications, Experience & Skills :?Minimum graduate / High school.?Successfully completed a training program in storekeeping.4 years of experience as storekeeper for fresh items (fruits & vegetables) preferred.?Warehouse procedures, methods of proper and orderly storage and issuance of materials.?Basic inventory procedures, requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, packing slips, bills of lading.?Knowledge of warehouse record keeping systems - Computerized.?Working under pressure.?Good communication skills interpersonal skills.?Good English language.
