PIAGETJOB TITLE Store Design and Planning Project ManagerREPORTING TO Client & Retail Experience DirectorLOCATION DubaiMAIN PURPOSEProvide overall management direction for the stores project realization, renovation, and reinstatement, in line with the brand image, the time schedule and budget, under the supervision of PIAGET Headquarters with a client centric approach.Organize, manage and control the planned and ?reactive? maintenance of the points of sales in the Middle East and India, to ensure the most suitable environment for the employees and customers.The position includes regular travelling to visit and monitor prospected locations, ongoing construction projects and existing stores.Existing Stores NetworkInternal Stores: 4External Stores: 6Wholesale:7KEY RESPONSIBILITIESStore PlanningAssist PIAGET Middle East Brand Manager on meetings, negotiations, to asses technical and budget information related to the projects.Manage the relationship with the brand partners on the project: Department stores / Malls / Landlords / Co-board / etc.Prepare a preliminary schedule for the projects; perform costs estimating and value engineering; supervise all aspects of day-to-day management of construction projects along with the local architect.Prepare preliminary proposals and space organization based on Market and management needs through a client driven design strategy.Design and ConstructionWork, coordinate and gather the necessary information for the projects in cooperation with all PIAGET departments involved in a store opening and store day-to-day life: Retail / Wholesale / Finance / Legal / Operations / Real Estate / etc.Work in coordination with Piaget SDP HQ and the external consultants on the design of the stores.Select, hire, instruct and negotiate costs with consultants (Local Architect, Permitting, etc.) and contractors (General Contractor, Millworker, etc.) in transparency with the Financial and Procurement Department.Oversee and ensure the respect of the timetable for all phases of the project, including: programming, design, development, construction, purchase orders (deliverables including brand supplied items), opening and maintenance.Develop and administer project budgets and fiscal controls, contract and quality control; check the correct process of payment and resolution of litigations.Monitor and coordinate work performed by field staff and construction firms; ensuring that project operations are in compliance with design specifications and with regional policies and regulations, established performance and delivery criteria, and ensuring that brand requirements are being met.Support the Piaget Store Design and Planning Teams Worldwide in all its missions.MaintenanceOrganize the interventions of planned and reactive maintenance including regular control, ensuring that the quality of the store is within the standards of the Brand guideline.Prepare and award Annual Maintenance Contract and suppliers for all internal boutiques, based on specific needs (planned and emergency interventions)Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment (structural, electrical, plumbing, equipment repair or replacement).Coordinate with the local RICHEMONT Security Departments to ensure the comfort, well-being and safety of company personnel and clients, (Health and safety requirements according to local regulations).Follow up and monitor with boutique maintenance champions the realization of scheduled maintenance contracts (air-conditioning, fire extinguishers annual check contract, etc.)Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues (water leaking for instance) as they arise and deal with solution and repairs.Prepare maintenance yearly budget forecast based on Brand Guidelines.Visit, Monitor and ensure that partner/wholesale boutiques are regularly maintained, ensuring that also external boutiques are within the standards of Brand GuidelineVisit the stores regularly and make the reporting of his/her activities to the line manager and the Retail team.PROFILEExperience5-year experience in Architecture and RetailPreferred experience in Luxury retail and/or luxury hospitality with international organizationsEducationDegree in Architecture or Construction EngineeringTechnical competenciesAnalytical and project management skills; written, verbal, presentation, interpersonal and teamwork.Confirmed CAD skills: AutoCAD, Sketchup, 3D visualization, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.General Office software skills: Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, etc.Proficient in MS Project or equivalent Project Planning softwareProfessional proficiency in English, additional language skills would be advantageous.Proactive personalityAdaptability and flexibilitySolution drivenCustomer centric
