Job Description

Our client, a leading government hospital, is currently looking for a Staff Nurse - ICU specialized with Pediatric patients, to be based in Dubai. In this role, you will be responsible to:

  • Provide age-appropriate care to children admitted in pediatric ICU
  • Monitoring patient vitals such as blood pressure, heart rate, respiration rate, temperature, and weight on a frequent basis to ensure they are within normal limits
  • Monitoring the childs progress and communicating with other health care professionals regarding treatment plans and patient progress
  • Performing physical examinations on patients, including listening to lungs with a stethoscope and checking pulses in arms and legs
  • Preparing infants for feeding by suctioning out their noses and mouths with a bulb syringe
  • Monitoring the infants feeding schedule, administering feeding through a tube that has been inserted into the stomach through the navel, and changing diapers as needed
  • Recording information about patient symptoms, reactions to medications, and progress during nursing assessments
  • Observing and documenting patient behavior, including interactions with family members, visitors, and staff members
  • Providing emotional support to patients and their families during difficult times, such as death or serious illness
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
  • Preferably someone with DHA license/eligibility
  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing / Masters degree in Nursing is a plus
  • At least 5 years of experience as Pediatric ICU Nurse
  • Willing to Willing to work in Dubai
  • Work for 48hrs per week
