Job Description

Job Summary:We are seeking dedicated and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Hotel Staff. As a member of our hotel staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their stay. You will be responsible for various tasks, including front desk operations, housekeeping, food and beverage service, and general guest assistance.   1. Front Desk Operations:
  • Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing a positive first impression.
  • Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring accurate documentation and payment processing.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Assist guests with special requests, such as room upgrades, transportation arrangements, or restaurant reservations.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
  1. Housekeeping:
  • Clean and prepare guest rooms to the highest standards, ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and proper sanitation.
  • Change bed linens, replenish amenities, and restock supplies as needed.
  • Attend to guests requests for additional toiletries, towels, or housekeeping services promptly.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department for timely resolution.
  • Maintain laundry and storage areas in a clean and organized manner.
  1. Food and Beverage Service:
  • Assist in the operation of the hotels restaurant, bar, or room service, as required.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver orders in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure tables and dining areas are clean and properly set up.
  • Provide attentive and friendly service, addressing any guest concerns or inquiries.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of banquet or conference rooms for events.
  1. General Guest Assistance:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, promptly addressing guest inquiries, complaints, or issues.
  • Assist guests with luggage handling and transportation arrangements.
  • Offer recommendations and information about local attractions, restaurants, and events.
  • Ensure the safety and security of guests by following established procedures and protocols.
  • Handle cash transactions, maintain accurate records, and reconcile daily sales.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in the hotel industry or customer service role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, including reservation software and Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as per the hotels schedule.
