Parsons has the people and power to move the world.JOB OVERVIEWThis exciting opportunity requires a dynamic and innovative professional with a deep knowledge of Smart City ecosystems and who has experience with project management and implementation methodology of Smart Cities projects. Their enthusiasm for Smart Cities and renowned capability will help drive the business forward throughout the Middle East.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and develop Smart City opportunities throughout the MEA region
  • Establish, develop and manage both client and partner relationships throughout the MEA region and be able to demonstrate Parson?s capabilities in this domain.
  • Actively participate in planning the business development strategy for Smart City business opportunities.
  • Lead tender responses in Smart City and related fields.
  • Identify and develop unsolicited proposals to key clients throughout the MEA region.
  • Ability to lead Smart City project delivery (whether consultancy or deployment).
  • Participate in the formalization of Smart City and loT strategy, including vendor/product evaluations
  • Ability to design city-scale connected Smart City and loT solutions
  • Monitors the Smart City and loT technology landscape and suggesting new technologies and product offerings.
  • Conduct extensive market research to analyze Smart Cities market trends, understand customer challenges and target market needs.
  • Stay on top of current trends and serve as the internal and external subject matter expert for the Smart City offerings
  • Willing to support and/or lead other aspects of the Smart City ecosystem including the identification and development of opportunities in other industry verticals.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop technical proposal content including client presentations and other presentation materials.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
