Job Description

JOB PURPOSEReporting to the SSC Head of Source-to-Pay, the ?Manager ? Sourcing? is a new role at IHS. We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter who can build a team that will deliver procurement process efficiencies on behalf of IHS Group and local operating companies (OpCo?s). This role will be responsible for managing a team who will deliver across a range of procurement activities including supplier diligence, sourcing (RFx creation, distribution, and response consolidation), etc.THE WAY WE WORKWe are customer focused, understanding that we continuously must surpass our customers? expectations. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the establishment and development of the SSC Sourcing function, including supplier due diligence, non-critical supplier sourcing, (e-)sourcing management, supplier onboarding activities.
  • Liaise and build effective and constructive relationships with Group Procurement, Finance Operations, Global Process Management, and other functions within Shared Services.
  • Influence a significantly wider group of procurement, business, and finance stakeholders to deliver agreed SSC Sourcing objectives and performance.
  • Ensure the agreed scope of transaction activities and processes are fully migrated to SSC with no shadow procurement, duplicate effort or stranded costs remaining in the OpCo?s and Group.
  • Drive ongoing continuous improvement opportunities with an emphasis on repeatable scalable SSC - Sourcing processes to enable seamless integration of future acquisitions and growth activities.
  • Oversee the development of SSC Sourcing SLAs with all customer groups, both within and external to Procurement.
  • Work with SSC Sourcing team members to identify and implement ongoing improvements.
  • Manage overall SSC Sourcing resource allocations and budgets.
  • Monitor overall SSC Sourcing team and individual performance and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Drive development of SSC Sourcing staffing through involvement with the selection, training, career development and evaluation programs.
  • Ensures that all controls, policies, activities, and the deployment of resources within the SSC S2P function are consistent with the overall Shared Service Center vision.
  • Maintain SSC Sourcing strategy to support functional objectives and business requirements.
