We are currently looking for Sr. Officer - BI and Analytics for our UAE operations with the following terms & conditions.EducationBachelor Degree in Computer Science / MCA from a recognised universityExperience and SkillsProfessional QualificationsMicro-Strategy QualifiedWork ExperienceMinimum 4-5 years post qualification experience preferably in banking industry.Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reportsKnowledge of automated Financial and accounting reporting systemCommercially minded with strong modelling and analysis skillsAttention to detail and ability to work logically, consistently and accuratelyExcellent numeric skills combined with an inquiring, analytical mind-setGood working knowledge of accounting information and changing financial rules and regulationsAbility to discuss financial transactions with both fellow professionals and those with no financial backgroundThorough understanding of the Banking industry domain, banking business architecture and banking industry data model and integrationSound knowledge of relational and dimensional modeling conceptsExperience with leading data modeling tools and enterprise data model development in financialservices organizationExperience with Waterfall and Agile methodsTechnical CompetenciesFinancial, Regulatory Reporting and Compliance- Finance- ProficientFinancial Control and Accounting- Finance- BasicFinancial Analysis and Performance Management- Finance- ProficientData Governance and Business Intelligence (BI)- Finance- BasicStrategic Planning and Budgeting- Finance- BasicCost and Vendor Management Control- Finance-BasicAsset Liability Management and Market Intelligence- Finance- BasicCorporate Governance and Investor Relations-Finance-BasicKey AccountabilitiesMANAGEMENT REPORTING / BUSINESS SUPPORTSupport in Implementing a robust Management Reporting Process for effective and efficient decision making.To prepare, monitor and control periodic Management Reports to facilitate Business Teams and Mancom.To support business teams with their requirements of information and providing them.Support Effective Business reviews focusing risk and opportunities, variances and corrective measures.Other AccountabilitiesBUSINESS INTELLIGENCE AND ANALYTICSWork closely with Data Management Team to ensure business is benefited by BI and Analytics efforts.Ensure the business adoption of reporting and analytics applications and take the responsibility of training business users to ensure increased adoption.Liaise with Business and Stewards to optimize KPI definitions and develop re-usable BI and analytics applications.Be the trusted advisor for the Bank Business teams by working closely with Data Governance team to adviseBusiness on implementing innovative use cases that would help business achieve its near term and strategic goals.CUSTOMER AND BUSINESS ANALYTICSSupport in making propensity models around customer base to identify potential profitable customers. Betterunderstand customer acquisition cost, cost to serve and retention cost and focus energies where the opportunity to maximize revenue is higher.Other AccountabilitiesJob ContextWorks with Senior Manager ? Financial Management & Planning, Business Heads. Responsible for the process of management of information and plays a pivotal role in decision making. The job involves technical complexities and understanding of reporting structure is imperative.The positions also involves design of MIS structure and modification as determined by the circumstances.Ability to work on oversee multiple concurrent projects and multiple data product owners and product owner analysts.Ability to interface with product owners, IT team, and business users to ensure that all solutions and applications adhere to data governance goal and principlesTerms and conditionsJoining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 1 month)Additional InformationTerms and conditions:Joining time frame: maximum 4 weeks
