PURCHASE ORDER REGISTERMaintaining accurate and up to date PO register for effective management and execution of related tasks.VENDOR & CUSTOMER COMMUNICATIONúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿFollowing up with vendors for delivery status and communicating ETA with customers.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿHighlighting or escalating cases where there are delays or non-acceptance.FREIGHT FORWARDING MANAGEMENTúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿFOB, FCA / Ex-works shipment collection from HK, Shenzhen, China, UK, Singapore & Netherlands & UAEúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿObtain Shipping Plan from each Vendor for the following month.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿFor any shipments from FOB/FCA HK, Shenzhen, China ? obtain approximate dimensions (available from Margin Sheets) and request competitive pricing from our standard, or new, FF partners.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿComparing the quotes received from forwarders and discussing / getting approval from Manager to award the shipment to the best quoted forwarder. Assign FF to handle the upcoming shipments.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿUpon receipt of shipping documents from the Shipper ? verify if the document contents like item value, item code & quantity are in line with our PO placed to Vendor. Requesting the FF to collect and move the shipment from respective location to Dubai & also sharing the FF with our Shipper and requesting them to release the shipment along with original shipping documents to our nominated FF. In case original shipping documents are not available at the time of shipment, the Shipper will send them by courier to our office and you will instruct our FF to collect the originals from our office, once available , this is to ensure that either no Customs Deposit is required at the time of customs clearance, or the Customs Deposit is returned upon presentation of the original shipping documents.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿFollowing up for the Air shipment clearance formalities with our FF and providing required documents as and when requested for smooth clearance and delivery of shipment to our customer or to our warehouse.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿIn case of Sea freight shipments - following up with FF on vessel scheduling, BL draft and providing required document copies to move the shipment from Origin. Also coordinating with the shipper and ensuring all original documents are dispatched to our office via courier separately.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿSending pre-alert to our warehouse team on the shipment arrival along with shipping documents copies via email, also preparing & sharing ES delivery note with forwarders / delivery team to get delivery acknowledgement from our Customers upon delivery of shipments.
