Job Description

Role Objective:Overseeing the payroll function for staff and labors in the UAE. Ensuring payroll cycle is accurate and timely executed and all relevant information is maintained in the system.OPERATIONAL:

  • Payroll Data:?Update and maintain payroll records of employees and new joiners, terminated and transferred employees to ensure that payroll records are accurate and kept up to date. Review payroll details to ensure compliance with contractual agreement and policies and procedures.
  • Payroll Distribution:?Coordinate distribution of wages of staff and labors with Accounts team in order to ensure employees receive accurate payments within the specified timeframe. Prepare salary transfer letters/instructions and ensure on time transmission of pay slips and other records to finance for processing pay.
  • Employee Records:?Maintain employee records in the system to ensure that all advance payments made to the employees are recovered and up to date. Ensure settlement calculations made in case of resignations / termination are including any pending open amounts for reimbursement.
  • Leave/Settlement Payment:?Handle leave entitlements and settlements to ensure employees receive prompt payment on time.
  • Expenses:?Administer overhead expenses of employees in order to facilitate project /department /location wise manpower costing of employees for the budgetary purpose.
  • Payroll Queries:?Assist employees with common pay related queries.
  • People Management: Assign tasks to the team, monitor and assess performance, provide guidance and support team members in their individual development.
  • General Tasks:?Perform any other duties and responsibilities as designated by the Line Manager.
