Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Work closely with marketing/product management resources in our business units, and technical resources in our IT department, to ensure a focus on delivering a world class eCommerce.

  • Create search relevancy test scenarios, run QA tests, report results, troubleshoot issues and understand and report on customer search behavior.
  • Working knowledge of and proven experience with Elasticsearch
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and collaborative enviro support multiple eCommerce websites through the continuous diagnostics, mitigation and optimization of the search function.
  • Develop techno-functional specifications gathering and writing as needed to maintain system
  • Expected to conduct system analysis, with limited support from IT, to keep our systems current and optimized
  • Analyze, coordinate and supervise the development of software systems with the IT partner team
  • Design software or customize software for eCommerce, with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency
  • Understanding, and ensuring, business requirements are met for any new development on a variety of backend systems by working with stakeholders, documenting where needed, testing and communicating the status of projects
  • Co-responsible with IT for developing new projects and proofing the project to develop needed changes to assure production of a quality product
  • Maintain working knowledge of advancing technologies relating to Elastic Search
