Partner with Business on any issues that arise and advise business on complex accounting issues.Ensure strong internal controls environment.US GAAP monthly reporting - ensure timely & qualitative close and reporting of books.Own the Statutory Accounting Policy and Process. Ensure timely and accurate filing of all statutory financial statements.Monitor and advise on robust indirect (VAT, Withholding Tax) and direct (Corporate Tax) reporting / submissions to authorities.Partner with Tax on tax planning and restructuring projects.Partner with Treasury to safeguard and optimize free cash, investment of free cash ? providing loans to HESA.Review country specific contracts and provide US GAAP compliant revenue recognition accounting treatment.Oversee AOP of Controllership function.Manage monthly eRec process.Conduct annual Balance Sheet reviews.Safeguard company assets - review and approve fixed assets/inventory counts.Lead and coordinate internal/external audits and remediation of audit observations.Co-ordinate and support Tax Audits.
