Job Description

The BD team works on some of the biggest and most impactful deals at Uber including Demand, Supply, Earners, Loyalty, Payments, Travel, and Sustainability. We are at the core of the business strategy, giving you the chance to work with global and cross-functional partners. The Middle East & North Africa is one of the strategic growth regions for Uber globally and will remain so in the years to come.As a BD team member and leader, you will #SeetheForestandtheTrees by understanding the big picture of partner selection, the strategic importance of a deal, and the impact it will drive for Uber and the partner.As a Senior Associate, youll have the opportunity to be an integral part of the team that is responsible for scaling usage of the Uber platform amongst millions of consumers in the region through deal-making.Your responsibilities will include driving key Business Development efforts across MENA by building and activating senior business relationships to establish partnerships that;

  1. increase the supply available on the Uber platform
  2. accelerate the growth of Uber users
  3. increase Ubers profitability and
  4. accelerate Ubers platform strategy.
You will serve as an integral driver of the Uber Business Development team in helping to realize the overall plan across MENA!What Youll Do
  • Drive a strategic business development plan for MENA target markets and ensure it is in line with the overall Uber strategic direction
  • Work on Ubers top partnership opportunities in the region, working with various cross-functional teams to build deal terms and drive contracts to closure, and then manage these key relationships to extract maximum value for both Uber and its partners over the long-term.
  • Support the evolution of the long-term partnership vision by creating new ways to add to existing partnerships. You?ll be making those not so obvious connections that drive innovative products and initiatives to grow our business
  • Build business models, performing analysis to understand trends, provide actionable insights, and track productivity and success of initiatives to ensure we?re driving toward the best possible outcome
