It?s what you?d expect from the most sustainable paints company, which has been inventing the future for more than two centuries.Job PurposeTo develop the technical sales of Chartek fire and cryogenic protection products by growing own relationship with key accounts and working closely with internal project managers and account managers to conclude sales.Key Accountabilities

  • Have regular contact both face to face and over email with key stakeholders in Oil & Gas Engineering Companies, Oil Companies and Contractors based in Europe
  • Answer technical queries from clients, typically from safety, structural design and loss prevention departments
  • Establish customer relationships to proactively follow up on key new construction projects
  • Deliver technical presentations to engineers from safety and structural design to promote the technical leadership of Chartek range of products
  • Help key clients to write their technical specification for Fire and Cryogenic protection
  • Work in close coordination with the internal account managers to help progress both wet paint and Chartek sales on large projects
  • Understand the specifics of each project and account to develop dedicated short and medium term tactics
  • Stay in close dialogue with internal fire technical and marketing group to develop the best response to market needs
  • Work with internal segment manager to develop and improve our offer for fire and cryogenic products for the up/down stream market
  • Participate in R&D and fire working groups and provide input to product development and testing
  • Update data on internal CRM or other system as requested
Experience
  • University Graduate, preferably anEngineering degree in Civil or Mechanical or structural design background
  • Extensive experience in technical sales or construction to the Oil & Gas market in relation with structural design, fire safety or offshore fabrication.
  • Ability to understand technical and contractual requirements linked with specification and projects
Knowledge base
  • Must have a sound knowledge base of O&G construction techniques, understand fabrication plans and be able to offer bespoke Chartek solutions to EPC
  • Ideally knowledgeable in the application of PFP material and in a position to discuss with confidence with EPC as well as application or contractor
