Your Role:˙
The ideal candidate will be responsible for working cross-functionally to understand architecture needs by multiple business units. To be effective in this position, you must feel comfortable owning the entire architecture development process from inception to completion.
Architect, design, and maintain a scalable and resilient digital loyalty platform using the best commercial off-the-shelf solutions.
Create High-Level Designs to effectively communicate solutions to various stakeholders and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) to convey the solution details to agile teams responsible for its delivery.
Lead solution design efforts in delivering products and features of the highest quality standards, utilizing industry-leading design patterns. Identify and address any anti-patterns that may impede or hinder the ability to release on demand or create engineering inefficiencies. Also, focus on mitigating anti-patterns that negatively impact engagement, acquisition, or conversions and lead problem management activities.
Collaborate with agile teams to provide detailed design specifications to the engineering team and offer guidance to product owners, as needed, to ensure the creation of releasable stories.
Participate in agile ceremonies and engage with engineering teams to resolve design-related issues and ensure smooth progress.
Define product success metrics in collaboration with product management and design. Implement leading and lagging metrics for new products and consistently work on improving customer engagement, acquisition, and conversions.
Work closely with product management and development teams to fulfill business requirements for new features. Take end-to-end ownership of the solution and effectively communicate functional requirements across different organizational levels.
Design, implement, and govern continuous integration and delivery pipelines for all components within the loyalty platform. Analyze existing technologies used in the loyalty platform and drive initiatives to enhance their utilization and value generation.
Collaborate with the broader architecture team to influence changes to existing standards when necessary, based on collaborative and value-driven engagement. Identify and recommend suitable solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options, considering business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership. Take charge of driving architectural decisions and technology selections for the loyalty platform. Make prompt decisions even in uncertain or information-limited situations.
