Quest Search and Selection has partnered with MyStudyLife and we are looking for a hardworking Social Media Intern who will relish the opportunity to put into practice what they are learning (or have learnt) at university. Please note that this is paid work experience, this is not a job and there is no visa offered.We are looking for a creative and commercial candidate with some social media knowledge and superb writing skills to play an important role in our growing company. This is an exciting, intern-level opportunity for an undergraduate or post-graduate studying this dynamic field. You will be working with a global team to help grow MyStudyLife into a holistic student platform.You will also work on a new product, MyStudyZen, that has just been launched on the App and Play Store and which has yet to make its social media debut. This will provide an excellent opportunity to get involved in a start-up product.As the Social Media Intern, you will perform the following duties:ú Increase exposure of the group and new company through social mediaú Administer groups and MSZs social media accountsú Analyse social data and create monthly social media reportú Research and create copy for posts for groups social media platforms. We have a Graphic Designer who works part time with MSL on some visual content creation. He will create some visual content and you will work together.ú Research current benchmark trends and audience preferencesú Research social media usage for similar products and new platformsú Create social media strategy for new productú Research and create monthly social media report for MSZú Comply with legal, industry and ethical guidelinesú Ensure a positive customer experience and respond to reviews and external mentions (social media and press)Requirements for an Ideal Candidate (Social Media Intern):ú Undergraduate or Postgraduate. If you are an undergraduate or postgraduate in Social Media or Marketing or a related field; that would be an advantage but not a must.ú Deep understanding of all trending social media platforms and trends including Instagram, TikTok andú Excellent communication - superb writing and editing skillsú Strong analytical skills, ability to collect, organise, and analyse informationú Accuracy and attention to detail are vitalú Ability to work unsupervised to tight deadlinesú Strong computer skills using Microsoft Officeú Knowledge of the UK and US university systems would be helpfulú Good level of numeracyWe request that candidates send their CV as a Microsoft Word document where possible.Quest Search and Selection is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
