Job Description

Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for streamlining operations, optimizing supply chains, and ensuring seamless global shipping? We are actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Shipping and Logistics Manager to join our innovative team.Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans for efficient shipping and logistics operations.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and partners to optimize supply chain processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations and customs requirements.
  • Lead a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their performance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and other industry partners to negotiate favorable terms and rates.
  • Manage and resolve any logistical issues, disruptions, or delays that may arise.
  • Implement and utilize logistics software and technology to streamline processes and enhance visibility across the supply chain.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting operational performance and proposing strategies for continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
  • ÿ3+ years of experience in shipping and logistics, with a proven track record of managing successful operations.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, transportation modes, and customs regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • [Any relevant certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Logistics Professional (CLP) would be an advantage.]
  • English and Arabic languages are mandatory.
