Shared Service IT Manager | Al Futtaim Education Foundation schools | DubaiThe Post: Shared service IT ManagerWe are actively seeking a skilled Shared service IT Manager to be responsible for overseeing the management and development of IT network infrastructure and ensure safe and reliable running of all IT system while maintaining a high standard of excellence in service delivery for staff and students across both Deira International school & Universal American school.˙Key Responsibilities:

  • Take overall responsibility for the management and development of the infrastructure of the school?s IT network, liaising with key staff to ensure that IT services meet curriculum needs

  • Plan deployment of new technologies and upgrades/modification
  • Have an overall view of the capabilities of the school?s IT services and contribute to continuous improvement to meet future needs to ensure competent and forward-thinking management of IT
  • Keep abreast of new technological developments in IT
  • In conjunction with senior management within the school, contribute to the IT budget planning process to ensure most effective and efficient use of available funds

  • Liaise with appropriate staff to order equipment and software, deal with suppliers regarding IT related business
  • Line manage and take responsibility for the work of the DIS & UAS IT team to ensure they carry out their duties effectively and receive adequate support
  • To be the main point of reference for day-to-day eventualities
  • Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required
