Service EngineerLocation: GCCSalary: Market relatedÿOur client is a Global provider of sensor intelligence and application solutions that create the perfect basis for controlling processes securely and efficiently, protecting individuals from accidents, and preventing damage to the environment.Key responsibility, reporting to the Head of Sales Factory & Logistics Automation,ÿCo-ordinate, plan and execute the Factory Automation & Logistics Automation service activities occurring in the Middle East region.<b>Responsibilities</b>úÿÿÿÿÿÿ Proactively collaborate and align all activities related to Project & Service Execution.úÿÿÿÿÿÿ Help identify the key risks involved during acquisition stages related to the execution of the project and/or service.úÿÿÿÿÿÿ Installation, Commissioning & SAT of Products and Systems.úÿÿÿÿÿÿ Communicate effectively with customers and other team members to ensure that service requests are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.úÿÿÿÿÿÿ Perform emergency, periodic & preventative maintenance, repair, shutdown services and AMCs for all products installed at customers premises.úÿÿÿÿÿÿ Troubleshoot & diagnose issues in a pressurized situation.úÿÿÿÿÿÿ Provide remote and/or on-site training for customer engineers.úÿÿÿÿÿÿ Provide remote technical service support (including email, telephonic & online).úÿÿÿÿÿÿ Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with safety procedures and quality standards.úÿÿÿÿÿÿ Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including work performed, parts used, time spent etc and ensure timely invoicing of service completed.úÿÿÿÿÿÿ Support Sales Team with customer visits & carry out site surveys, to gather existing install base data.úÿÿÿÿÿÿ Support Sales Team to promote & sell the Service Portfolio.úÿÿÿÿÿÿ Witness and/or execute pre-FAT and FAT at System Integrators premises as and when required.úÿÿÿÿÿÿ Limit all liabilities to the company and group.úÿÿÿÿÿÿ Some out of normal working hours may be required (including weekends & public holidays).Requirements<b>Requirements:</b>úÿÿÿÿÿÿ High school diploma or equivalent required.Associates or Bachelors degree in Electronics / Instrumentation Fieldúÿÿÿÿÿÿ 10+ years of total work experience with at least 5 years handling complex international projects within the Laser & Camera based Barcode Reading Systems (1D& 2D), RFID Systems and Volume & Weight Measurement Systems.úÿÿÿÿÿÿ Professional attitude & good communication skills at all levels of the organization.úÿÿÿÿÿÿ Fluent written/spoken English; additional language is advantageous.úÿÿÿÿÿÿ Technical Expertise (Project Management, IT Software, Quality Tools). Working knowledge of CRM systems.úÿÿÿÿÿÿ Travel within the Middle East region
