Job Description

DescriptionThe proposed position will be for a member of a managed services technical team, which is responsible for VoIP, functions and services related issues (operations, 2nd and 3rd level support). The engineer will be working in a group of IT experts locally and within multiple projects to cover the required services functionalities and availability.Roles and Responsibilities

  • This position will require travelling. When not on site, Engineers will be assisting in the development of project plans, designs and documentation for existing and new scopes.
  • Plan, deploy, configure, troubleshoot collaboration solutions from the beginning to implementation by collaborating with vendors e.g. Cisco
  • Establish a working Cisco UC Manager 10.x VOIP system while keeping in mind client requirements
  • Plan, install, configure, examine and maintain Cisco Call Manager products
  • Provide on-call operational level support for all facets of Cisco VOIP hardware and software
  • Deliver proof of concepts for emerging technologies
  • Assist in capacity planning of VOIP equipment and networks
  • Provide VOIP architecture and infrastructure designs for data centers and site deployments
  • Open TAC cases to rectify user, VOIP or collaboration infrastructure problems
  • Write HLD/LLD for new scopes or tenders
  • Have extensive knowledge of routing protocols (Static, OSPF, and BGP)
  • Design and deploy changes to the configurations of clients as per the applicable change management process.
  • Recommend and develop best practices for new locations
  • Provide support services for SIP˙Signalling
