Senior User Experience Researcher

We are looking for a highly talented Senior User Experience Researcher to join our team in Dubai. • Responsible for planning, designing, preparing and running user research activities to support the design, development and continuous improvement (including contextual discovery,
• experience mapping, diary studies, early-stage concept and prototype testing, lab based and contextual usability and accessibility testing)
• Develop and manage the usability and accessibility testing process
• Working with other researchers and supporting in the development and implementation of UX strategy, policies, processes and standards, promoting user centered design principles and best practice across the organization
• Act as High-level technical consultant to the Digital organization on all research methodologies across products and services
• Craft personas and other ?information radiators? (e.g., journey maps) to communicate insights across the design and development teams
• Own research projects with various complexities, ranging from strategic to tactical research.
• Leads research roadmap prioritization at tribe/team level, turns research into the strategic component of product development.
• Works close with the Design and Product organization and other stakeholders to identify upcoming research needs.
• Understands and carries cross-tribe and user goals & priorities into the research roadmaps and plans.
• Actively initiates and drives mid to high-impact research projects in order to clarify ambiguous problem spaces.
• Produces and communicates robust actionable research insights that have a clear impact in the strategy at tribe or/and regional level.
• Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and processes in order for the daily work to be carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes, practices, work processes, cost effectiveness, and productivity enhancement
• Promote to other employees within the organization the implementation and adherence to policies, procedures, processes, and instructions
• Follow daily operations relating to the job to ensure work continuity
• Contribute to preparing timely and accurate reports that concern the line of work to meet the requirements, objectives, and standards
• Ensure the satisfaction of both internal and external customers by addressing their needs in a courteous and timely manner

• 4-6 years of experience in user research across qualitative and quantitative methods
• 2 years? experience in leading research initiatives
• Solid understanding of the design thinking process, as well as a passion and know-how for influencing design strategy
• Expert at setting the bar on a mix of both quantitative and qualitative research
• Hands on experience with standard survey, usability benchmarking, and/or data analysis tools (e.g., Survey Monkey, Qualtrics, Userzoom, SPSS)
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English, both written and verbal
• Bachelor?s Degree in User Experience Design, Design Communication, Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Science, Anthropology, Sociology, Human Factors, Psychology, Design, HCI, or any related field
