Position title Senior Systems Engineer (Dubai) DESCRIPTION ExecuJet MRO Services is currently seeking a suitably qualified person to fill a vacancy, based in Dubai, UAE. The main objective of the position is to lead and manage the IT Department. RESPONSIBILITIESSystem administration* Maintenance and administration of Vmware Vsphere Infrastructure* Maintenance and administration of Microsoft Azure Infrastructure* Maintenance and administration of Microsoft Office 365 Applications including Exchange Online , Teams, One Drive and Sharepoint Online* Maintenance and administration of Windows Servers and Windows / Mac Client Computers, Smartphones, Tablets and Endpoint Devices* Maintenance and administration of Veeam Backup and Replication Infrastructure* Maintenance and administration of SAN and NAS Backup Repositories* Implementation and Maintenance of Offsite Backup & Replication Technologies* Audit and Test the DR Plans* Maintenance and administration of Digital Signage* Maintenance and Administration of A3/A4 Multifunctions, Barcode / QR Code Scanners / Printers / Handhelds* Maintenance and Administrationi of Access Control. Time & Attendance and Visitor Management systems* Implementation and Maintenance of Cloud Managed Endpoint Protection Solutions* Implementation and Maintenance of Centrally / Cloud Managed Software Patch Management tools and services* Ensuring all endpoints in the domain are compliant with ExecuJet MRO Services and Security Policies* Good Knowledge of Helpdesk Application and managing the Helpdesk Tickets in compliance with the SLA* Conducting and Maintaining IT Hardware and Software Audits* Providing end user training and creating User Manuals* Good verbal and written communication skills for understanding and assisting end usersNetwork administration* Configuration and Maintenance of HP Aruba Layer 2 / Layer 3 Switching and solid understanding of Switch Stacking and Vlan Technology* Configuration and Maintenance of Routers with good understanding of static and dynamic Routing* Configuration and Maintenance of Fortinet Application Firewall with good understanding in configuring IDS / IPS / Web Filters and Policy Based Routing* Configuration and Maintenance of Aruba Controller Managed WiFi Network* End User Remote Access Management and Maintenance* Configuring and Maintaining Site to Site IPSEC VPN* Working Knowledge of SIEM Solution* Working Knowledge of SDN* Stay abreast of new technology* Advise department heads on technical issues* Implement new strategies/proceduresCommunications* First Level Support on Digital / IP PBX* Mobile Device Enrolment to Company Portal* BYOD Policies Implementation and ManagementSupervisory Functions* Assist in Managing Vendor Relationships and analyse and procure IT hardware and software* Manage Relationship with Telco Operators and analyse the Internet / Mobile / Landline Plans with Telco* Assist in New Product / Technology Evaluations and Demos* Ensure the preventive maintenance from third party contractors are scheduled and completed* Ensure vendor SLAs are in compliance* Manage department personnel to ensure timely support of all users, equipment and infrastructure issues EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONSEssential* University Degree in IT or a relevant qualification* CCNA or equivalent* MCITP or equivalent* PMP, PRINCE 2, AGILE, or other leading project management certifications* Minimum 10 years of experience in IT* Minimum of 5 years experience managing vendors, IT team, and experience working in the UAE or GCCDesirable* Lead technical design, implementation, and management of server technologies* Experience in Implementing and Supporting VMware Virtualization and Microsoft Azure technologies* Experience in Implementing and Supporting Microsoft Office 365 Suite Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, One Drive, Teams* Experience in Implementing and Supporting Windows Server Infrastructure* Experience in Implementing and Supporting NAS and SAN Storage Infrastructure Experience in Implementing and Supporting Veeam Backup and Replication Solution* Experience in Implementing and Supporting Disaster Recovery Solutions* Experience in Implementing and Supporting Information Security Technologies * Ability to communicate effectively at all levels* Problem-solverJob Location Dubai, United Arab EmiratesPrivacy OverviewCookieDurationDescription
