D?partement of Professional Practice supports KPMG Audit Professional in accounting, auditing and reporting matters. We achieve this mission by providing the following services:
Provide support to professionals on accounting, auditing and reporting matters.
The role requires the candidate to have strong knowledge of IFRS and being able to both review and prepare technical papers for discussion with global industry/subject matter experts
Staying abreast of latest developments, amendments to/new accounting and auditing standards
Work closely with other large firms to discuss and agree responses to common technical issues and related regional challenges.
Identify training needs and facilitate training on current accounting, auditing and reporting issues
Education requirements:
Qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, ACA,CA or equivalent).
High performer with 7-8 years? experience and proven track record with a large firm in audit and/or technical support role.
Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs) and International Auditing Standards (ISAs)
Self-starter with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.
Team player, with the ability to multi-task, as well as flexible and can work under pressure.
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
