Act as a focal point between the scientific community and the organization, by building a connectionlocally, regionally, and internationally with relevant stakeholders like academia, scientificinstitutions, governments, and research funding programs to achieve the organization R&D agenda.Roles and responsibilities:? Develop outreach strategies, including determination of conferences that should be attended,plans for press coverage, and other outreach activities.? Receive and evaluate collaboration opportunities and research proposals from external parties.? Plan, organize and participate in technical meetings and consultations that convene diverseexperts to advance key issues in scientific research.? Attend and participate in multidisciplinary research team meetings and functions.? Prepare briefing materials and summaries of meetings, workshops, and conferences.? Identify and promote specific funding opportunities to support the development ofmultidisciplinary grant proposals and projects based on team science and scholarship.? Support R&D team by reading, analysing and organizing the response to requests for proposals,requests for information, broad agency announcements, and other funding opportunityannouncements.? Provide project management to proposal development efforts.? Prepare for a variety of information exchanges with public and private sector science colleaguesworking on research, programs, and policy related to research program priorities.? Assist with the writing of non-technical proposal components (e.g., diversity and inclusion,education and outreach, data management, facilities, etc.).? Conduct team debriefing of project submissions to build on best practices and enhanceresubmission success.? Develop institutional templates for common proposal components.? Provide an editorial review of proposals.? Perform other duties as assigned.
