Job Description

Our ClientLeading Oil & Gas Company - 6 Month Extendable ContractYour Responsibilities

  • Design & implement robust security solutions that are used to prevent malware attacks.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and provide technical assistance to the other IT team members. Vulnerability risk assessments to prioritize patching efforts across asset estate.
  • Monitor, respond to, and report on cybersecurity incidents and events to safeguard from potential security threats and breaches. Ensure alerts are handled as per the defined KPI?s and reported to accuracy.
  • Ensure improvements to logging, monitoring, detection, and incident response processes.
  • Coordinate the implementation of IT security policies to ensure compliance, asset security hygiene creating a secure IT environment, in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform compliance scanning to analyse configurations and facilitate hardening configurations for networks, OS, apps, and DB.
  • Proactively hunt for adversaries on the corporate networks utilizing a variety of tools and techniques.
  • Respond to incidents and tasks reported in ticketing systems
Your Qualifications
  • 4-6 years of clear experience in cyber security engineering/compliance/incident response.
  • Preferred extensive experience with PAM, WAF, Splunk, NDRs/EDRs, Cloud Security.
  • Preferred extensive experience with Qualys and Splunk for compliance
  • Experience with security process improvement activities
  • Bachelor?s degree in IT, Computer Science, or any related field.
  • Certified in SANS GIAC & CISSP/CCSP, CISA/ISO27001 etc.
