Job Description

Job PurposeThe role holder is responsible for managing all proposed developments and fit out projects to ultimately control the baseline program, scope & project budget. In addition to review the architectural designs and ensure the coordination with all internal technical teams, and compliance with zoning authority regulations, master planning guidelines, international and local standards, municipal orders, and local building regulations.Principal Accountabilities/Key Results Area?

  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility?
  • Manage the projects from initiation through initial cost estimates & timelines till contractors? award?
  • Propose & advise on consultants? procurement strategy?
  • Manage consultants throughout the design stages & monitor the project timeline & budget?
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs?
  • Report and escalate to management on any deviation/risk on the project timeline & budget, propose mitigation options through value engineering/cost reduction or crashing the time schedule to ultimately minimize impacts on the project?
  • Review the architectural design at various design stages, and ensure the design are is consistent with company?s standards & advise on design compliance with relevant authorities?
  • Coordinate with internal technical team (, contracts, roads & infrastructure) , consolidate all comments at all design stages & communicate the same to the project consultant?
  • Effectively communicate to both internal and external project stakeholders & manage/advise on their requirements whilst also monitoring and reporting on issues and risks as projects progress.?
  • Provides project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.?
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Development Control policies, systems, processes, procedures to ensure consistency.?
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation?
  • Carry out the research and support in the development of Architectural guidelines regulations and standards to update existing company?s guidelines or establish new guidelines and standards in line with international and local standards.?
  • Provide guidelines on policies, processes, and procedures to Consultants, to ultimately facilitate the stakeholders concerns throughout the project life cycle.?
  • Provide clarifications Support & assistance with the relevant authorities? pertaining to architectural design throughput the design & construction stages for various building sites in order to provide the Consultants with constructive suggestions.?
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of departmental work plans that facilitate the delivery of agreed objectives of the entity.?
  • Update job knowledge by tracking technology and project management advances; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.?
