Key Responsibilities

Conduct competitive, best value, and single/sole source bids
Analyze bids and formulate purchase recommendations
Negotiate with qualified suppliers and identify cost reduction opportunities
Conduct Market Research on all procurements
Document price analysis techniques as defined in the FAR
Utilize knowledge of purchasing price thresholds including TINA
Document and/or understand the requirements of Advance Notification & Consent, Simplified Acquisition Threshold, Small Business Plan, and CAS
Ensure compliance with strategic procurement and US Government Contracting requirements (FAR, DFAR, FAR15, etc.)
Interact with multiple departments at all levels of internal and external organizations
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
