Senior Planning Engineer - CivilJob Location : Dubai, UAE:•Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using software like Primavera P6, ensuring accurate progress tracking and resource allocation.•Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to proactively address potential project delays and cost overruns.•Analyze project progress, identify critical path activities, and provide timely recommendations to project teams for corrective actions.•Prepare comprehensive progress reports, including earned value analysis, to communicate project status to stakeholders.•Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather data and update schedules reflecting real-time project changes.•Review and assess contractor schedules for compliance with contract requirements and identify potential schedule impacts.•Manage and control project budgets by monitoring costs, forecasting expenditures, and analyzing variances.•Prepare and present schedule recovery plans when projects fall behind schedule, outlining strategies for regaining momentum.•Participate in project meetings, providing planning expertise and contributing to effective decision-making.•Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract documents, and relevant industry standards.Desired Candidate Profile :•Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (Masters preferred).•8–15 years experience in planning, with at least 5 years in the UAE.•Proven experience with villa communities, mid-rise buildings, and high-rise towers.•Strong command of Primavera P6 and project control methodologies.•Excellent understanding of UAE construction practices, authorities, and contract conditions (FIDIC preferred).•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
