Senior Planning EngineerJob Location : Dubai, United Arab EmiratesKey Responsibilities:•Prepare and manage the master construction schedule using Primavera P6 or MS Project .•Develop detailed work breakdown structures (WBS), resource histograms, and progress S-curves.•Lead planning efforts for all aspects of port construction or high-scale infrastructure projects , including marine piling, quay walls, dredging, jetties, breakwaters, roads, railways, or metro systems.•Perform Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis and identify schedule risks and mitigation plans.•Monitor project progress, generate look-ahead schedules, and provide accurate forecasting.•Manage resource planning , optimization, and coordination across departments and subcontractors.•Prepare and present progress reports , delay analysis, recovery plans, and extension of time (EOT) claims.•Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project milestones.•Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and port authority regulations.•Supervise and mentor junior planning staff and ensure quality of planning deliverables.Qualifications & Skills:•Bachelors Degree (B.Tech / B.E.) in Civil Engineering (mandatory).•Additional certifications such as Primavera P6 , PMP , or equivalent are preferred.•10 to 15 years of experience in planning and scheduling either marine infrastructure or large-scale civil projects (e.g., roads, railways, metro, or port construction ).•Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 , MS Project , Excel , and planning best practices.•Strong leadership , coordination , and decision-making abilities.•Excellent written and verbal communication and reporting skills.•Ability to work independently and manage multiple planning functions under pressure.
